In the Level 2 organic standard the acid base reaction referred to is between amines (which are weak bases) and carboxylic acids (which are weak acids).
To help you understand this more here is a YouTube clip which takes you through the reaction (you don’t need to know this is a form of condensation reaction although it does make sense as condensation is water and water is a product of this reaction): 20.4.2 Describe, using equations, the reactions of amines with carboxylic acids IB Chemistry HL - YouTube
In reality you can just draw the salt formed and not need to name it.
