Hi, my English teacher said for my crucible essay (reputation vs integrity) that I need more links to the directors purpose and more going deeper with my ideas? I have no idea what things I can link to increase my grade can someone please help 
Hi Charlotteneedshelp - hard to comment without seeing the essay in question, however for the Crucible, it can be good to talk about how the story is set in Salem, but is really an allegory for McCarthysim and the difficulties of standing up for what you believe in when your reputation is at stake. You could also look at how this is a timeless message, as it is still certainly clear in our conduct today - how important protecting one’s reputation is, groupthink, etc.
